The Scott County Historical Society meets on the third Thursday of the month, March through November, at the Georgetown & Scott County Museum, 229 E. Main Street, unless otherwise noted. Check the Meeting Schedule for updates.
Membership in the Scott County Historical Society is open to anyone interested in Georgetown, Scott County, or Kentucky history. An email reminder of program details including dates, locations and meeting times will be sent each month.
To join the Scott County Historical Society, simply download and print our membership form, fill it out, and mail it with your check payable to SCHS to the address that appears on the form.
